The buildings comprise the main house, garage, toolshed, pool, and water meter house (at the top of the property)

Approach from the road |
This traditional Spanish two storey house is situated midway up the terraced hillside
site, about 20 metres from the road.
The most prominent feature is the four arch front to the covered portico, which
faces South. This identifies the house from way down in the valley.
The house is painted white, with red tiles on the roof and white steel "rejas" or grilles at the windows.

|
Garage, sun terrace, pool and toolshed |
Adjacent to the road is a large garage and workshop, with a single width up and
over garage door, and a sun terrace roof reached by a set of steps behind the pool.
The pool is next to the garage, a converted concrete water storage facility, with
a small patio area to the rear. There is a small pump and sand filter unit for the pool in the garage.
Behind the garage and one terrace higher is a storage building or toolshed, a fairly basic building with a corrugated
metal roof.

The covered patio from the road entrance |
The real joy of this house is the covered patio, which offers solid shade and a cooling breeze in the heat of the day,
and a wonderful open air lounge for the evening barbeque.
We keep an old refrigerator out here so that cool drinks are always to hand, and this area really is the focus of
living and entertainment.

Covered patio from the kitchen end |
Most of the house has been rewired, and all of the plumbing has been renewed.
New drains and a substantial new septic tank were installed three years ago.
The whole interior of the house, upper and lower storey, has been refloored with beautiful grey porcelain tiles.
A telephone is installed, as is a modern alarm with autodialler.
